Adam Pinkard

CO-FOUNDER

Adam found a passion for the whisky industry during a holiday in Scotland with his father in 2013. On returning home to Tasmania, he made it his new goal to open a Tasmanian whisky distillery. Shortly into the venture, he turned to his friend Adam Saunders to help solidify the dream with that partnership producing award-winning Tasmanian single malt whisky.

Adam a former full-time paramedic of 13 years, has enjoyed representing Australia in powerlifting holding several national and international records. Adam played American football and track in the USA while attending college.

Adam Saunders co-founded the Adams venture in 2014 to transform a whisky dream into a working single malt distillery. His skill and experience as a master builder are reflected in both the new distillery building and visitor centre. And Adam’s attention to detail is evident in the quality of the spirits produced.

Adam has two daughters and a wife, who have supported him through the ups and downs of an ambitious and time-hungry venture. Adam enjoys improving his home and travelling when he can.

Efren Jamieson

Sales Manager

Efren grew up in Tasmania and has a passion for whisky, gin, and fine wine. Efren brings to the Adams team extensive experience gained in working with independent groups, national accounts, bars restaurants, and clubs across the state of Victoria.

Conall Cassidy

Venue Manager

Conall is a performer and has a keen interest and an amazing knowledge of spirits. You'll find Conall at our front of house as he leads the Cellar Door team and showcases Adams Distillery’s premium spirits to visitors.
